Hello everyone! Happy 2016!!!! I hope that you all had a wonderful year, Merry Christmas, and were able to ring in the New Year with some fun. I am soooo thankful for another year of business and all the wonderful people I was able to work with in 2015. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I am ready to revamp my business to serve you all better and excited to work with my 2016 couples and clients. Did you happen to make a few resolutions like myself? I did a horrible job blogging last year and so 2016 is going to be the year of the blog, so here goes nothing!
If you didn’t know, weddings are my absolute favorite thing to photograph. I love to tell the a story from start to finish, make my couples laugh and enjoy their day, and document their wedding so that in 50 years they have timeless photos. I had my last wedding of 2015 in November and I don’t have another for months. I am kind of going through wedding withdrawal :). So a couple weeks ago, I found a beautiful model, borrowed a gorgeous dress and had a dreamy, wintery bouquet made up and we jumped in a pickup truck and drove to Red Lodge where the mountains were blue and the snow was gently falling.
I am totally in love with the images and I can’t wait to tell you all about the vendors that made them so gorgeous. First I have to thank my assistant Allison for all of her help with prepping for this shoot. She really made everything come together. You know you are the best, Allison! I asked Taryn from Belle En Blanc to borrow one of her gorgeous dresses for the shoot and she generously lent me this Blush by Hayley Paige dress. It was perfect. If you are getting married in 2016 you need to go to Belle En Blanc! Next, I asked the best florist I know, Katie of Mac’s Floral to create something wintery and what she came up with was to die for! She also made a winter flower crown out of no where and totally surprised me with it, sooooo beautiful! Again, you must visit with Katie if you are walking down the isle this year. I also asked Montana Vintage Clothing to borrow a fur shawl and they graciously came up with a pure white shawl that went perfectly with my vision. Lastly, I asked Bobbi of BLB Makeup to do hair and makeup for my lovely model, Jandi. She came through, like always and her makeup and hair were flawless. If you are in need of an artist to make you feel your best on your wedding day, you need Bobbi! And thanks to Jandi for baring the cold, harsh temps and making it look so good.
Please enjoy the photos and I hope to have you in front of my lens this year!
