Uhhh, where do I begin with this family!? Traci is a long time friend of mine. And I can honestly say she is just one of a handful of women that I so dearly admire and look up to. Her and her family experienced one of the most painful situations in life, the loss of a baby. Traci was almost 27 weeks pregnant with their second child, Brooklyn in 2005 when she just knew something was wrong. She had loss of baby movement and went to the hospital. Not long after the Doctor was unable to find Brooklyn’s heartbeat. She was born still born shortly after that. Traci and Ben were amazing through all of this. And it is clear to see that there marriage grew stronger through this situation, as I know sometimes in others the pain is just too much to bare and couples separate. That is why I look up to Traci so much, she took a situation that could have very well destroyed her and her family and she decided to use Brooklyn’s life and death to help others and honor Brooklyn in doing so. Traci got involved with an organization called Rainbow, which is bereavement support for pregnancy loss and infant death. She is now a facilitator for Rainbow and by sharing Brooklyn and empathizing with others, I am confident that Traci has helped so many women, parents and families. Traci, I am so proud that you are my friend and I adore you and your family!
